Scientific and Diagnostic Laboratories of the Educational and Scientific Medical Center "University Clinic" of ZSMPhU

 In terms of academic staff, the university ranks among the top three state medical educational institutions: as of January 1, 2025, the university employs 672 lecturers, including 122 Doctors of Sciences/Professors and 438 Associate Professors and Candidates of Sciences. Among the university’s scholars are a corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 46 members of international Academies of Sciences and international scientific societies, seven Honored Workers of Science and Technology of Ukraine, four laureates of the State Prize of Ukraine, five laureates of the Academy of Medical Sciences of Ukraine awards, a laureate of the President of Ukraine’s Prize, two laureates of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Prize, six Honored Doctors of Ukraine, five recipients of the Cabinet of Ministers’ scholarships for young scientists, and two recipients of the President of Ukraine’s scholarship for outstanding healthcare professionals.

• the study of the pathogenesis, morphological features, multimodal diagnostics, and therapeutic and surgical treatment of the most common diseases;
• targeted synthesis of new compounds and the search for relevant plant raw materials, as well as research into their biological activity for the development of new medicinal products.
