Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University actively invests in developing international relations, particularly cooperation between international organizations, associations, and foreign higher education institutions.

The Department of International Relations and Educational Technologies actively investigates and develops international collaboration in the field of higher medical education. It represents ZSMPhU on the global stage, corresponds with foreign embassies, organizations, and firms, and participates in international conferences, meetings, and workshops.

The work of the Department of International Relations and Educational Technologies is realized through the following activities:

• Participation in various international programs and projects;

• Developing and supporting international cooperation between ZSMPhU and other local and foreign organizations and institutions;

• Creating and signing agreements with foreign education institutions and organizations;

• Engaging foreign lecturers in the process of teaching;

• Organization and coordination of academic staff and student exchange;

• Participation in the work of international forums, exhibitions, scientific societies, and associations both in Ukraine and abroad;

• Foreign delegations and representatives reception;

• Completion of paperwork in foreign languages for diploma validation on request.

• Assistance in the implementation and organization of distance education.

• Advertising ZSMPhU in international publications, directories, and ratings

• Development, implementation and adaptation of innovative pedagogical methods of education (problem-oriented education), including life-long learning medical education based on information and communication technologies to develop professional competences of students, interns, doctors and other interested persons in accordance with the requirements and needs of the development strategy of the ZSMPhU;

• Adaptation of academic curricula and plans together with foreign higher medical institutions to conduct joint training of students (Double Joint Diploma Program);

• Increasing the innovative competences of the academic staff and the level of knowledge and skills of trainees

• Conducting a survey among applicants for higher education to identify further effective tactics to improve the quality of education at the university.

• Research and study of new principles of management and work, organization of educational process of foreign HEIs for the purpose of effective adaptation and further use in the activities of the ZSMPhU.

• Administration of the official site of the University in foreign languages
