Historical Reference
Until 1969, the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Zaporozhye Medical Institute provided both full-time and extramural education. Since 1970, extramural education of pharmacists has been suspended, and in 1997 the admission of students for the part-time education at the Faculty of Pharmacy in the specialty "Pharmacy" was resumed at Zaporizhzhia State Medical University.
In 2004, the Pharmaceutical Faculty (extramural education) was opened at ZSMPhU and additional training of students in the specialty "Technology of Perfume-Cosmetic Preparations" was started.
Faculty Students
More than 2,000 students study at the Faculty, and more than 90% of them have secondary special and higher education.
The University has all the conditions for the educational process: a scientific library, reading rooms, an electronic library, computer classes with Internet access, a system of distance education.
The training of pharmacists and pharmacists-cosmetologists is carried out by experienced lecturers, including a large number of doctors of sciences, professors, candidates of sciences and associate professors.
Powerful personnel potential of the Faculty, as well as modern information, material and technical support of the pedagogical process allow to achieve a high level of training of students at the Pharmaceutical Faculty No. 2 (extramural education).
