Practice in Pediatrics for Foreign Students in a Safe Environment

Third-year international students from India and Morocco, studying at the Berehove campus of Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University in Zakarpattia region, participated in hands-on pediatric training at the Children’s Department of the Bertalon Linner Berehove Hospital. This training was conducted under the supervision of the department head, pediatrician Agiy Mariya Vasylivna, and pediatrician Lytvynets Antonina Yaroslavivna. Students gained practical experience in Pediatrics Propedeutics, Childcare, and Nursing Practice in Pediatrics.

Enhancing Pediatric Training with the Body Interact Virtual Patient Simulator

This advanced technology is an essential part of the training as it offers real-case scenarios in different fields of medical practice, such as diseases of the respiratory system, cardiovascular system, endocrine system, and many others, in patients of various ages.

Studies in Berehove: Practical Skills and Preparation for the Unified State Qualification Exam (USQE)

Education at the Berehove Student Campus of Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University (ZSMPhU) in Zakarpattia has expanded with a new area: a preparatory department is fully operational now and offers future students the opportunity to study the Ukrainian language and other essential subjects needed for admission to their chosen specialties. A group of students from Ecuador is already learning the Ukrainian alphabet and familiarizing themselves with the culture, traditions, and historical landmarks of Ukraine. As part of the program, they visited Uzhhorod and Mukachevo and explored the history of the Palanok Castle.

Winter Session in Berehove

The winter examination session for international students of Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University, studying at the Zakarpattia campus of ZSMPhU, based at Berehove Medical College (Berehove, Zakarpattia region), is in full swing. Students take four exams, each consisting of a test and an oral component.
