University Clinic Safeguarding Women's Health

A specialized mobile gynecology team has begun operating at the Medical Educational and Scientific Center "University Clinic" of Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University . This initiative has been made possible through grant support and cooperation with the international humanitarian organization Project HOPE. Its goal is to bring modern gynecological care closer to women living in frontline and remote communities.

According to Olena Deinichenko, Medical Director of the University Clinic, PhD, and Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at ZSMPhU, the mobile team has already provided services to internally displaced persons. Women received comprehensive medical examinations free of charge, including ultrasound diagnostics. The specialists also collected the necessary laboratory samples and provided consultations on maintaining reproductive health, family planning, and modern contraceptive methods.

“Specialized mobile medical teams are critically important today. They go to communities across the region and provide medical care to internally displaced persons, bringing modern healthcare closer to everyone who needs it—especially during the war, when many women are unable to visit a physician in a timely manner,” emphasized Olena Deinichenko. “Our University Clinic is always ready to provide qualified medical care, ensure access to modern diagnostic and treatment methods, and offer support on the most important aspects of women's health.”
