Extraordinary Educators Seminar – 2026
Within the framework of the Ukraine-Switzerland project “Development of Medical Education”, the Extraordinary Educators Seminar – 2026 was held, aimed at fostering professional growth and rethinking the role of the educator in modern medical education. The event focused on finding solutions to the complex challenges of today and developing the readiness to consciously seek new approaches and opportunities for advancing the educational process.
Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University was represented at the seminar by Anna Tsymbal, Assistant of the Department of Childhood Diseases at Educational and Scientific Institute of Postgraduate Education; Natalia Zakharchenko, Assistant of the Department of Hospital Pediatrics; and Yelyzaveta Anpilohova, Lecturer at the Department of Foreign Languages.
Over the course of five days, representatives from various medical educational institutions across Ukraine worked in an atmosphere of trust and professional dialogue. The seminar fostered the synergy of extensive teaching experience with readiness for change, reflection on professional practice, and collaborative search for effective educational solutions.
Particular value was placed on the exchange of practical developments and achievements, as well as modern educational tools and methodologies ready for implementation in the teaching process. Significant attention was also given to the development of soft skills necessary for working in uncertain conditions and managing educational processes.
The professionally structured environment, guided by the facilitators, fostered teamwork, professional growth, and the strengthening of the teaching community.
The participation of representatives from Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University in the Extraordinary Educators Seminar – 2026 marked an important step toward improving the quality of medical education and implementing modern educational approaches.
