Scientific Ideas of ZSMPhU on the International Stage
Assistant of the Department of Propaedeutics of Internal Medicine, Radiology and Radiation Therapy of Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University, PhD in Medicine Olena Vizir-Tronova, took part in the European Society of Hypertension (ESH) Summer School 2025, which was held from September 14 to 19 in Särö, Sweden.
This annual educational event brings together young scientists and physicians from different countries who specialize in the study and treatment of arterial hypertension and related diseases. In 2025, 53 participants from 33 countries were invited to attend.
The school’s program combined lectures by leading hypertension experts, interactive workshops, group assignments, and scientific discussions. During one of these sessions, Dr. Olena Vadymivna delivered a presentation entitled “Clinical and Pathogenetic Aspects of the Course of Hypertension and Prediction of Treatment Effectiveness in Patients with Modified Risk Factors.” Her talk sparked an engaging discussion among participants from various countries.
In addition to the scientific program, participants took part in a number of cultural events and excursions organized by the Swedish ESH committee, which contributed not only to professional growth but also to the establishment of new international collaborations.
The participation of a representative of ZSMPhU in an event of such a level contributes to strengthening the university’s international relations and enhancing its scientific potential.
