A New Level of Collaboration with 3D Organon

A New Level of Collaboration with 3D Organon

Another online meeting took place between the team of Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University and the developer of 3D anatomy software—the international company Medis Media (3D Organon).

In March 2025, the company introduced a series of updates to its platform, which is already actively used in the educational process at ZSMPhU, and granted our university a unique opportunity to be among the first to test these innovations in the practical training of students.

Over several months, academic staff from the Department of Human Anatomy, Operative Surgery, and Topographic Anatomy, under the leadership of the Head of Department, Associate Professor Maksym Shcherbakov, actively explored the capabilities of the updated functionality and integrated a new interactive application—Examverse—into the curriculum. This app allows for the effective combination of 3D anatomical models with tasks of varying complexity, enhancing material retention, developing clinical reasoning, and providing valuable feedback between instructors and students.

During the meeting, the Head of the Medis Media office, Athanasios Raikos, expressed his support for the ZSMPhU team. Company representatives offered professional feedback on the implementation results, answered instructors’ questions, and explained the specifics of using certain tools and functions of the application. This feedback will contribute to a deeper understanding of the software’s potential and help tailor it to the needs of the educational process.

Further cooperation prospects were also discussed, including the potential involvement of ZSMPhU in international webinars dedicated to the implementation of cutting-edge educational technologies in medical training.
