The final stage of university training has begun with the defense of master’s theses by final-year students of the International Faculty, who are pursuing a degree in Pharmacy, under the educational program “Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy.”

 

Associate Professor Taras Ivanenko, Dean of the International Faculty, stated that the fifth-year students have successfully completed the first two stages of Attestation — they passed KROK 2, as well as the five-component OSCE, which tested their knowledge in pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmacognosy, and assessed their skills in a virtual pharmacy, including pharmacy economics and clinical pharmacy.

 

According to Professor Liudmyla Kucherenko, Head of the Department of Pharmaceutical, Organic, and Bioorganic Chemistry, all master's theses were submitted on time to the committee. They were prepared in accordance with current legislation. The works were reviewed and approved by the departments responsible for supervising the thesis works of the final-year students of the International Faculty, who are pursuing a degree in Pharmacy, under the educational program “Pharmacy, Industrial Pharmacy: Pharmaceutical, Organic and Bioorganic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmacy Economics, and Management, Pharmacognosy, Pharmacology, and Botany, and Clinical Pharmacy.

 

Representatives of these departments, as well as the Dean's office, are present at the defense both in person and remotely, fully engaging in visual communication with the authors of the research. Bulgarian students also defended their master’s thesis.

 

Notably, our final-year students receive a European-standard diploma, in many countries of the European Union, it is important to have official confirmation of a successfully defended master’s thesis.
