The Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology of Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University (ZSMPhU), Professor Volodymyr Siusiuka, took part in the international expert meeting titled "Preserving Pregnancy in the Conditions of War and Demographic Crisis in Ukraine: Scientific Evidence and Clinical Expertise on the Use of Progestins."

 

More than 20 Ukrainian scientists and international experts, including Gian Carlo Di Renzo (Florence, Italy) and Paul Piette (Brussels, Belgium), participated in the discussion on the issue of pregnancy preservation.

 

The expert group proposed the implementation of a unified interdisciplinary approach to providing medical care for women with pregnancy loss, prioritizing treatment strategies with proven efficacy and safety, in accordance with international medical standards.
