Alla Kulichenko, Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages, Receives Prestigious “Scientist of the Year 2024” Award.

 

Professor Alla Kulichenko has been honored with the prestigious “Scientist of the Year 2024” award as part of the V International Program “Scientific Elite of Ukraine.” The program is supported by the National Academy of Sciences, the Ukrainian Federation of Scientists, and other governmental and public organizations.

 

This esteemed recognition highlights her significant contribution to science. Prof. Kulichenko has published 225 works in Ukrainian and international journals, including works indexed in Web of Science (9) and Scopus (1). She has also written textbooks, educational manuals, and methodological guides on pedagogy.

 

Beyond academia, Prof. Kulichenko demonstrates a strong commitment to civic engagement. She actively participates in the NGO “Social Interaction,” the Ukrainian Association for Language Testing and Assessment, and the Ukrainian Educational Researchers Association.

 

At Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University (ZSMPhU), Prof. Kulichenko encourages first- and second-year students to engage in research. Her students have repeatedly won national translation competitions and student scientific conferences. Starting in 2024, she also serves as the ZSMPhU coordinator for the Baltic University Programme at Uppsala University in Sweden.
