Innovative Digital Learning at ZSMPhU
The issue of increasing digital literacy among all participants in the educational process is an integral part of the digitalization strategy at Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University. Digitalization encompasses all aspects of the university's educational activities.
To ensure a blended learning format, each participant has a personal Microsoft university account. For first-year students, 410 personal accounts were created this year. From September to November, 1,950 personal accounts were set up for online courses using the MS Teams platform.
Modern educational simulation technologies are widely used, such as the 3D Ogranon Anatomy VR complex, the "Body Interact" virtual patient simulator, the "Labster" virtual lab simulator, and the "Pharmacy Simulator" virtual pharmacy. On November 14, university representatives participated in an online webinar to explore the use of the VR platform SimLab by SimLab Soft, with the aim of integrating this software into the educational process.
To share information about new courses, professional development cycles, and events, social networks are actively utilized. The university's website has integrated payment systems and a Telegram chatbot.
To improve digital skills, ZSMPhU has launched a digital qualification course for academic staff on "Methodology for organizing student work based on personal knowledge management technologies in the Obsidian environment."
Thus, the use of innovative digital technologies in the university's educational process actively contributes to improving the quality of knowledge acquisition by students at all stages of learning.
