As part of the international medical partnership initiative led by Olena Zelenska, the First Lady of Ukraine, and supported by the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, an online presentation was held for the "Guide to International Medical Partnerships." This guide was developed with the support of the World Health Organization (WHO) to strengthen and expand medical partnerships between Ukrainian and international healthcare institutions.
The Ministry of Health representatives who attended the presentation highlighted the handbook's importance and potential for the Ukrainian medical community as well as the larger scope of international cooperation. During the event, Ukrainian medical universities, including Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University, were shown the essential elements of the guide. The main subjects covered were the continued development of medical partnerships and the forthcoming activities intended to promote further cooperation with WHO's support in carrying out this initiative.
The goal of this project is to increase global healthcare cooperation, provide more training opportunities, and promote knowledge exchange between Ukrainian medical institutions and their international colleagues. Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University and other Ukrainian institutions are collaborating with international health organizations to promote high standards in medical education and healthcare practices.
