Sharing Experience in International Cooperation
From October 7 to 9, 2024, the first meeting in 30 years of the Baltic University Programme (BUP) for staff from the international relations departments of higher education institutions took place, organized by the International Relations Department of the University of Ostrava (Ostrava, Czech Republic).
This event became a significant milestone for the academic community, providing a unique platform for sharing experiences, discussing challenges, and exploring prospects for international collaboration. Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University was represented by the Program Coordinator, Professor Alla Kulichenko from the Department of Foreign Languages.
During the meeting, representatives from various universities shared their achievements in international cooperation, presented successful development strategies, and highlighted the importance of integration into the global academic community. Key topics included best practices for involving faculty, researchers, and students in international projects, and innovative approaches to managing these initiatives.
Participants also had the opportunity to present their projects and discuss new opportunities for funding joint initiatives. The discussions contributed to the formation of plans for developing new partnerships and initiating joint research projects.
This meeting marked an important step in the evolution of the Baltic University Programme, enabling participants to strengthen connections and expand opportunities for collaboration. In conclusion, there was an emphasis on the importance of developing joint strategies to enhance the quality of international cooperation and attract new participants to the Program.
