The Open Day at ZSMPhU for foreign applicants attracted significant interest: about a hundred viewers watched the live broadcast, and within just 12 hours, the recording was viewed by over six hundred people.

 

The Rector of ZSMPhU, Professor Yurii Kolesnyk, and the First Pro-Rector, Associate Professor Mykola Avramenko, presented a unique opportunity for foreign citizens – the chance to obtain a European-level medical education in a safe environment. To ensure that current foreign students receive high-quality knowledge and practical skills, the Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University has opened a campus in the picturesque town of Berehove in the Zakarpattia region, where 3rd to 6th-year students are already studying.

 

Students have access to the latest mannequins, simulators, and real medical equipment during their studies, similar to what is available at leading European universities. Additionally, a modern hospital in Berehove ensures sufficient clinical practice opportunities for students. During the broadcast, several videos recorded by Indian students at this hospital were shown. Viewers also watched a film about the simulation technologies used in the educational process.

 

The presentation sparked numerous follow-up questions. Foreign students were interested in the specifics of studying in Berehove and the possibility of coming to Zaporizhzhia to continue their education and practice there. There was also significant interest in the new postgraduate offering – an internship program for foreign nationals. Yurii Mykhailovych and Mykola Oleksandrovych thoroughly answered all questions and invited potential applicants to continue the conversation via email, messaging apps, and social media.
