Training and experience exchange

The other day, Professor of the Department of Foreign Languages Alla Kulichenko participated in the Collegium of Academic Supervisors of the Baltic University Program 2024 held at Uppsala University (Uppsala, Sweden).

The program was full of master classes and seminars about the best practices of scientific research management, methods of supporting PhD students, and innovative approaches in teaching methods. The program of the event covered various topics, in particular, effective methods of scientific supervision, modern approaches to writing and defending theses, dual supervision, etc.

Professor Alla Kulichenko had the opportunity to exchange experience with colleagues from different countries, which contributed to expanding her professional horizons and establishing new contacts for future cooperation. Participants discussed current challenges and trends in the academic environment.

Moreover, the terms of cooperation between the Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University and Uppsala University within the framework of the Baltic University Program were discussed. This will open up new opportunities for joint scientific research, academic exchanges, and other forms of cooperation.

The visit to Uppsala University also allowed Professor Kulichenko to familiarize himself with approaches to the organization of the educational process and management of scientific activity, which will be useful for improving teaching methods and scientific management at the Zaporizhzhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University.
