Practical skills offline for foreign students

Fifth-year students from India and Nigeria with English medium of instruction have mastered the course of obstetrics and gynecology in the Interdepartmental Training Center of ZSMPhU in the offline mode. They have enhanced their practical skills under the guidance of the Assistant Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Mykhailo Kyrychenko.

"Students have learned and consolidated the skills to perform manipulations that they will need in practical work on dummies and simulators," Mykhailo Mykhailovych commented on the class process. - First of all, it is the performance of an external obstetric examination, auscultation of the fetus, calculation of the estimated weight of the fetus, and an internal obstetric examination were performed on the dummy: a manual examination of the uterine cavity, examination of the cervix in mirrors, measurement of the pelvis.

Every student has also had the opportunity to work on discipline scenarios with a virtual patient. - Students like this simulator with real-life cases."
