The study book "Emergency and Emergency Medical Care” which was written by the head of the Department of Disaster Medicine and Military Medicine of ZSMPhU, doctor of medical sciences, Professor Volodymyr Pertsov, and Associate Professor of this department, Ph.D. Oleg Lyovkin won the competition "Best Edition of 2023". It got the first prize in the "Study books" nomination! The laureates received a diploma and a bonus of 15 continuous professional development points.

 

Such a competition is annually organized by the NASHE “The Academy of Sciences Of High Education Of Ukraine ". The jury stands out in the study book "Emergency and urgent medical care" among other publications submitted to the competition for its relevance with the times when military operations on the territory of our country caused a significant increase in the number of combat injuries.

 

The study book was created for students of III-VI courses of medical faculties, doctors, rescuers, paramedics, and volunteers. The purpose of the publication is to provide systematized theoretical and practical knowledge to a wide range of users on the issues of providing modern methods of emergency pre-medical and medical care. Both students and medical professionals highly appreciate the textbook and use it in training and practice.
