Liliya Yushina, a 2nd-year student of the Faculty of Medicine No. 3 (specialty 227 "Physical therapy, occupational therapy") took third place in the prestigious international competition of the open Italian Karate League (Karate1 Youth League - Venice 2023 ) on December 7-10, 2023, in Venice (Italy).

 

She competed in the age group under 21 years in the "Kumite" section (weight category up to 55 kg) in the fight against opponents from Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Italy, Slovakia, Germany, Portugal, and Switzerland. Our athlete lost only in the semifinals to the future winner of the tournament.
