A student came from Turkey to get a medical education

ZSMPhU is traditionally popular among foreign citizens who wish to get high-quality medical and pharmaceutical education here. Despite the martial law, students are interested in the features of distance learning at the university.  Some students even cross borders to study offline.

Kaya Dilan who is a citizen of Turkey, has decided to study offline at the university. The girl's hometown is Diyarbakir, where she successfully completed a full course of study at the Yeni Lyceum. She already has a higher education majoring in economics. She studied at the Faculty of Business Administration. She worked as an accountant in her hometown.

"Dylan came to Zaporizhzhia with the desire to become a doctor and be useful to people," said the dean of the First International Faculty, Associate Professor Zhanna Ragrina. - Her family supported her - the girl's father is a teacher, her mother is a housewife, and they raise four children. It was important for Dylan to study offline, so she was not afraid to come to Ukraine, to our city during wartime. Not everything went smoothly along the way, but thanks to the efforts of our university, which not only provided her with a complete package of travel documents but also accompanied her throughout her journey through Ukraine, she reached the Student Campus and started classes the very next day after her arrival.

First of all, Dylan will learn Ukrainian at the Foreign Citizens Training Center. She has already met the teachers of the Center, the studying process has begun. It will be a complete immersion into Ukrainian with the usage of both: traditional and modern approaches to learning the language. The student will complete a full course of preparation for studying medicine."

Dilan said that she found out about the Zaporizhia State Medical and Pharmaceutical University from the Internet, got comprehensive information from the website of ZSMPhU, read reviews of students and graduates, and made her choice. She has good first impressions of the university itself and its staff. The student like the friendly atmosphere here. She lives in a dormitory. She wants to learn the language faster and try her best to achieve her goal. The student has already begun to learn the alphabet.

ZSMPhu is already expecting new foreign citizens and will be happy to meet everyone who wants to study here.
