As of today, most foreign students study online, but from the fall semester of the 2022-2023 academic year, thanks to the fruitful cooperation of ZSMPhU and the Bukhara State Medical Institute (Uzbekistan), fifth- and sixth-year students from India are studying under the academic mobility program, which involves taking practical classes on the basis of Bukhara clinics.
Students have the opportunity to complete their studies and acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills. Thematic educational plans for academic mobility groups were developed considering the curriculum of ZSMU. Students have already completed such courses as Hygiene and Ecology, Social Medicine, and General Practice (Family Medicine) remotely at ZSMPhU, and from March 1 they will receive practical training in Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Oncology, and Pediatric Surgery at the Bukhara State Medical Institute.
Taking into account the great interest of students from India, Morocco and Nigeria in the possibility of continuing their studies at ZSMPhU under academic mobility programs, the Administration of the university is actively working on the development and implementation of studies for all interested students.
