Assistance to the Zaporizhzhia Military Hospital from the Zaporizhzhia State Medical University is multifaceted and diverse.
One of its aspects is documentary, because the hospital staff, who have been working around the clock since the beginning of the war and without days off, with a critical workload, rescuing wounded soldiers, do not have enough time and hands for other work that must also be done. According to the agreement between the hospital management and Professor Yuriy Kolesnyk, Rector of ZSMU, such assistance is provided to them by students and staff of the Pharmaceutical Faculty No. 1.
Olena Maliuhina, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pharmacy Management and Economics, and Pharmaceutical Technology, and Valerii Demchenko, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Pharmacy Management and Economics, are drafting acts of evaluation and acceptance of medicines and medical devices, working on the identification of medicines received as humanitarian aid, which are not registered in the domestic pharmaceutical market. Students of all courses of the Pharmaceutical Faculty No. 1 help them in this.
