Flashmobs in honor of ZAISA

April 4 was a symbol of India in ZSMU. Two dance flashmobs, concert and exhibition of photographs, drawings and works where the authors tried to recreate their impressions of training in Zaporizhzhia State Medical University took place in front of the main and physiological  buildings of ZSMU.

The first stage of TAME project has started

In March 2016 tutor’s trainer Dr Ella Iskrenko-Poulton (St. George University of London) and Jonathan Round, physician of advanced pediatric department and author of the cases with medical errors (St. George University of London) conducted online training for PBL tutors focusing on training against medical errors. The teachers from ZSMU (Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia), BSMU (Ukraine, Chernivtsi), KSMU (Kazakhstan, Karaganda) and AMU (Kazakhstan, Astana) participated in this online conference.

  • Presentation of the volunteer project “Student Ambassador” for international students
  • Discussion: Principles to promote and protect the rights of international students in Ukraine

This workshop is primarily aimed at international students studying in Ukraine.

The 70th anniversary of Medical University in Plovdiv (Bulgaria)

 On May 20-22 2015 ZSMU representatives participated in the international conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Medical University in Plovdiv (Bulgaria). The conference had over 500 guests from around the world.

International training for Horizon 2020

On May 20, 2015 ZSMU participated in an International Training for Horizon 2020 Newcomers that took place in Bucharest. “Fit for Health 2.0”, a European initiative supporting researches in all stages in Health research organized the event.

All-Ukrainian science and methodical conference with foreign participation "Implementation of innovative technologies to medical education: problem-based learning and virtual patients"

April 22, 2015 in Zaporizhzhia on the bases of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University.

CONFERENCE TOPICS

  • Current issues of the problem-based learning.
  • Methodology of teaching material structure and organization of PBL cases development.
  • Psychological, pedagogic and didactic aspects of problem-based learning.
  • Principles of instrumental environment creation for virtual patients development.
  • Methodical and informational support of PBL implementation process in the common information space of University.

ZSMU diploma is recognized by Medical Board of California

 Good news came from California: Medical Board reviewed documentation submitted by Zaporizhzhia State Medical University. The Board has determined that Zaporizhzhia State Medical University meets the criteria for recognition of the medical education.

Graduates of ZSMU are now eligible to apply for a California Postgraduate Training Authorization Letter (PTAL) or a Physician’s and Surgeon’s Certificate.

The Board will add Zaporizhzhia State Medical University to its list of recognized medical schools.

ZSMU diploma is recognized in Palestine

The diploma of Zaporizhzhia State Medical University has been recognized by Palestinian National Authority. The University is entered in the list of higher educational institutions officially accredited by Palestinian Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
